Requirement For Registration Of Investment In Delta Special Economic Zone(Koko And Kwale Trade Zone)

A.  APPLICATION

  1. Business/Investor are to submit written application to DSEZMC-FZC.
  2. Business/Investor to pay a non-refundable application fee according to the investment category viz;

      Category A -$26,000 (Heavy industries: Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals e. t. c.)

      Category B -$21,000 (Light industries: Food & Drugs, Services e. t. c.)

   3. Business/Investor to complete and submit application form with supporting documents such as;

      i. Name of company and directors

      ii. The Project you intend to carry out accompanied by project plan

      iii. Feasibility study of project you intend to carry out

 BSITE LOCATION/ALLOTMENT

  1. Payment for allocation of land based on the number of Hectares required;

      Category A-100 HECTARES & ABOVE @$15 US DOLLARS/SQM

      Category B-1-99 HECTARES @$20 US DOLLARS/SQM

     2. After fulfilment of (B1) (payment made), Land and other necessary documents would be notarized and an Operating License will be issued to the Business/Investor by DSEZMC-FZC

     3. Allocation of land

        i. Survey

        ii. Marking

        iii. Allocation

         (NOTE: 1 HECTARES =10,000 SQM)

 C. DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT AND CIVIL WORKS

  1. The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment will be carried out by the Business/Investor within the land allocated.
  1. Business/investor to submit the construction plan, architectural & civil designs and Bill of Quantity within 3months.
  1. After fulfilment of (C1 & C2), a letter of approval for the development of the project and civil works will be issued to the Business/Investor while the business/Investor are to commence Development of the Project and Civil Works at least 3 months from the date of Approval.
  1. Site inspection will be conducted and approval  to be issued before the Business/Investor commences the equipment installation while other inspections will take place at every milestone till completion letter /approval is issued.
  1. Business/Investor to write a notice to the DSEZMC-FZC when it is time to commence production.

    6. Any Business/Investor in the Zones must comply with the Industrial Policies, Laws and Regulations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as well as comply with the approved master plan of the DSEZ.

  D. PROCESS OF REGISTRATION AS FREE ZONE ENTREPRISE

  1. Registration fee for Free Zone Enterprise (FZE) is included in the Application Fee for Category A/B above as applicable.
  1. Documentation/Due diligence will commence.
