The Board of Directors of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), led by its chairman, Prince Senator Adedayo Adeleye, recently visited Delta Special Economic Zone Management Company.
Pastor Godwin Akpovie, Managing Director/CEO of Delta Special Economic Zone who received the delegation, emphasized the importance of revamping the Koko port to boost the economic potentials of Koko Free Trade Zone.
In his remarks, Senator Adeleye pledged the Board’s readiness to collaborate with the Delta State Government to revive the State’s ports and boost their contribution to Nigeria’s maritime economy.
He said Delta ports were strategic gateways that, if fully optimized, would boost trade, create jobs, and drive economic growth.
